(dis)proportionate
Josephine is a daybed evoking a design from Adolf Loos that was never realized. Loos sketched this highly modernist villa for the fantastic Josephine Baker, whom he never met, but admired. Playing with proportions, Rampelotto scaled down the original project. He turned this utopic architecture piece into a daybed — on which one can lay down to dream big! Photos © MAK / Albertina
